What is Health & Wellness Coaching?

As a Health and Wellness Coach, it is my goal to help facilitate positive mindset and behavior change that generates sustainable healthy lifestyles, which helps to prevent disease and foster well-being.

At some point in our lives, many of us have an innate need for personal growth. Yet the initial steps that can put us on the road to improvement are not always clear to us. We can find ourselves overwhelmed with the desire to become a healthier, happier person. While we are all uniquely navigating our life, we may however feel driven to grow, develop, and change. This innate need for personal growth can be frustrating, fearful and challenging at times. Yet the initial step by step efforts we make daily can put us on the road to progress. And we should accept that change won't happen overnight.
Growing as an individual is simply a matter of making an effort to do good whenever possible. Respect for our-self and others is a key element of your efforts. When you acknowledge that all people are deserving of compassion, consideration, and dignity, you are naturally more apt to treat them in the manner you yourself wish to be treated. You will intuitively become a more active listener, have greater compassion, and caring for others as well as your-self. Going the extra mile in all that you do can also facilitate happiness and positive change. Approaching everyday with a positive attitude and optimistic expectations can help you to feel happier, healthier, and more at peace.

Finally, working on your values and abiding by them, will enable you to enhance your degree of integrity and dignity in your life.As you endeavor to develop yourself further, you can take pride not only in your successes, but also in the fact that you are cultivating consciousness within yourself through your choices, actions, and behaviors. Becoming a better person is your choice and a natural progression in your journey of self-awareness.

“Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow.”
